Senior Food & Beverage Manager

My client, a UAE (Dubai) based internationally recognized company urgently requires a Senior F&B Manager.

The main responsibilities of the role will be to plan, manage and control the entire scope of F& B operational activities across several concourses through respective F& B Managers and to provide strategic input to the Vice President (VP) in meeting F&B business objectives of Sales / Revenues targets while minimizing costs and maintaining standards.

The Food & Beverage Department has outlets located in several terminals besides catering to the First & Business Class Lounge and different airlines with a mandate to provide quality food and service to a wide variety of customers ranging from passengers, visitors to airport employees. Also, a new concourse is coming up with only VIP lounges where the challenge will be to establish the business which will include 2 live cooking, 300 seats waiter service restaurants and where continuous improvements on quality and service standards is of prime importance.

The large majority of the customers are the Airline Passengers, Civil Aviation Officials, Airport Authorities, Airline Representatives and expatriates working for different companies in the airport. Providing them with the best food services efficiently, effectively and economically is a significant corporate commitment. The responsibilities of the Senior F&B Manager is not only to ensure smooth operations at all the F&B outlets through respective F&B managers but is also to initiate improvement while coordinating internally with the production team and other departments and externally with the customers to ensure that highest quality and standards are being provided without any compromise with the airport security procedures.

Minimum Qualification: At least a Bachelor Degree in Catering Services and /or Hotel Management or equivalent qualification with extensive knowledge in Food and Beverage Management in a five star hotel or an international airport catering services.

Skills: Should have excellent communication skills, interpersonal relations and international networking. Should be task oriented with excellent hotel and catering background and experience. Should be highly motivated, a team leader with good organizing skills. Fluency in English is a must.

Experience: Total 8 years of experience with a minimum 5 years in a managerial position in any comparable industry.

The salary and benefits package offered is circa US$6,000 per month which is TAX FREE.
