Instrumentation Technician

TECHNICIAN



Permanent position at a processing plant in a remote area - 65km West of Thabazimbi in the North West Province.

Salary: R9000– R13000 per month plus benefits and bonuses

We are only considering South African Citizens for the position.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum: S4/T3
· Matric

EXPERIENCE:
· 5 Years plant experience in a heavy industrial environment
· Basic knowledge of LV and HV electrical equipment and reticulation systems will be an advantage
· Working knowledge of plant instrumentation
· Working knowledge of PLC’s (Siemens S5 & S7) and SCADA systems
· Working knowledge of power electronics such as excitation systems and AC/DC drives

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Customer service
· Optimise Asset Performance
· Standby duties
· Fault finding and maintenance of plant
